About The Position

Häfele America Co. is seeking a Dealer Sales Representative to manage the relationships between the company and Kitchen & Bath dealers, lumberyards, and resellers within their assigned territory. This role involves being the primary point of contact for these accounts, providing quotes, technical assistance, and showroom support. The position is field-based, requiring travel to showrooms, trade shows, and occasionally job sites for installation troubleshooting. The representative will act as the face of Häfele for these crucial business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in retail kitchen design or the industry, or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Comfortable presenting to groups (managers, dealers, customers).
• Confident in thinking on your feet during presentations.
• Proficient with numbers, including discounts, commissions, proportions, and area/volume calculations.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and general CRM/lead management tools.
• Willing and able to travel extensively within a large territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day relationship with Kitchen & Bath showrooms and resellers within the assigned territory.
• Serve as the go-to liaison connecting dealers, consumers, and internal Häfele teams.
• Develop deep product knowledge, with a focus on LED lighting, kitchen accessories, and decorative hardware.
• Train dealer staff on how to effectively use Häfele catalogs and technical resources.
• Conduct formal presentations to dealer teams and informal walk-throughs.
• Provide occasional on-site support for hardware installations.
• Staff trade shows, regional events, and work with the Häfele Mobile Showroom.
• Coordinate with Customer Service Specialists, Technical Sales Specialists, Regional Directors, and Product Managers.
• Report observations on dealer needs and market shifts to Product Managers and Marketing.
