About The Position

AmeriCredit is seeking a driven and fearless Dealer Relationship Manager for its field operations. This role is responsible for servicing and supporting non-GM franchise dealers and associated GM Financial products.   • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years successful sales experience.
  • Prior credit underwriting experience preferred.
  • Prior ancillary experience preferred.
  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred (but not required) working knowledge of dealership operations and indirect auto finance industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and market all AmeriCredit Financial products by managing assigned dealer relationships to achieve quality and volume objectives.
  • Equip dealers with the knowledge needed to maximize their use of our programs.
  • Maintain effective and impactful communication with dealers and appropriate internal partners.
  • Be home-based with the expectation to travel between assigned dealerships 90+% of the time to conduct ongoing sales visits, training and presentations.
  • Analyze dealer-specific data using reporting tools (SalesForce, Microsoft Office incl. Power BI) and take appropriate action using a sales process to educate, solve problems and overcome objections.
