About The Position

The Regional Product Specialist - Southwest is a key member of the dealer sales team, providing technical support and expertise to independent dealers within a designated region. This role serves as the main point of contact after orders are entered and fulfilled, supporting customers and assisting dealers in pre-planning for orders. The position involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and potentially conducting site visits. The ideal candidate will possess a sales mindset, strong communication and follow-up skills, a high level of product expertise across the Graber portfolio, and the ability to develop close customer relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of sales experience; industry experience in window treatments or interior design preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region; valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • Candidates with industry and SWF product knowledge are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Creative problem solving is essential; must have imagination and innovative ideas to recognize and respond to customer’s needs.
  • Comfort with hand tools, ladders, navigating construction sites and safety best practices.
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Dealer Sales team in designated region to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Provide service, technical support and product training to our dealers/franchisees (before and after sale).
  • Provide training support for the TSMs throughout the region.
  • Primary point of contact for escalated order concerns/trouble shooting and site visits across the designated region.
  • Must be able to lead and assist in measures and installations.
  • Provide high-level of technical support to dealers/franchisees throughout the region as a subject matter expert.
  • Provide troubleshooting and creative solutions when required for complex jobs/job sites.
  • Build value-add relationships with dealers/franchisees; ensure best practices and maximize success with our product portfolio.
  • Provide reporting to Regional Sales Manager detailing issue resolution and educational investments.
  • Be a resource for our quality team, providing feedback from the field.
