About The Position

Safeguards Kubota’s assets and assesses risk exposure using financial and other reporting analytics. Collects outstanding remittances and consults on business development issues. This position performs physical inventory auditing, completes timely collection of floorplan outstanding equipment, and assists in the preparation and submission of dealership watch lists. It proactively provides data, information, and communication to effectively predict dealership financial status, and ensures aged, off-inventory units are registered in accordance with Kubota’s aged-unit policies. The role involves preparing dealership risk assessments based on financial statement data, audits, and sales results, and ensuring timely collection of dealership financial information. Additionally, it provides dealer training on company inventory programs and inventory accounting issues, supplies historical and pro-forma financial analysis to determine dealership eligibility for new points, product lines, or financial products, and collects general dealership feedback. The analyst resolves issues and promotes positive relationships within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Familiar with financial statement analysis processes.
  • Strong background in collections including knowledge of FCRA principles.
  • Experienced skills in all facets of inventory analysis and audit procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Word as well as other software packages to enter and/or retrieve information.
  • Willing to travel up to 30%.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or other related degree program preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree at least 3 years of related inventory analytical experience required.
  • With a degree at least 1 year of related inventory analytical experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs physical inventory auditing at the direction of the Territory Credit Manager.
  • Completes timely collection of floorplan outstanding equipment, curtailment, etc.
  • Assists in the preparation and submission of dealership watch list.
  • Proactively provides data, information and communication to effectively predict dealership financial status.
  • Ensures aged, off-inventory units are registered (R&I) in accordance with Kubota’s aged-unit policies.
  • Prepares dealership risk assessment based on financial statement data, audit and sales results.
  • Ensures timely collection of dealership financial information.
  • Provides dealer training on company inventory programs and inventory accounting issues.
  • Supplies historical and pro-forma financial analysis to determine dealership eligibility regarding potential new dealership points, addition of Kubota product lines, additional financial products, etc.
  • Collects general dealership feedback from time-to-time regarding dealership financial-related training opportunities, Kubota inventory program effectiveness, etc.
  • Resolves issues and promotes positive relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
