About The Position

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is seeking a Dealer Coordinator. The qualified candidate for the Dealer Coordinator role is the perfect opportunity for a confident experienced individual with a great understanding of how to deliver fantastic hospitality. The Dealer Coordinator coordinates and arranges assigned section dealers to comply with policies and procedures as well as evaluating performance.

Requirements

Must be able to pass mandatory screening which may include a background and credit check, and drug test.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment team member permit, badge or license.
Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
Able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Available for full time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities.
Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
Able to converse in English.
Able to work independently.
Able to work within a team environment.
Prior experience in a supervisor or leadership role and 1-2 years’ experience and/or training as dealer.
Equivalent combination of education and experience also accepted.
Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school desired.

Responsibilities

Coordinates dealer rotations for live games in a fair and objective manner.
Must have full knowledge of all monthly casino promotions.
Completes employment-related paperwork to include payroll inquiries meeting payroll deadlines.
Assists in evaluating Dealer performance.
Provides information in written and verbal form to keep dealers up-to-date on changes in policy, new promotions, and important events.
Tracks on-going games.
Monitors and verifies Dealer tip contribution forms for correct amounts.
Handles extensive phone inquiries.
Provides leadership and serves as a positive role model to staff.
Attends training as appropriate to fulfill requirements, update job skills and promote development, and arranges staff to do the same.
Must be available to work any shift including overtime when necessary.
Regular attendance, punctuality and essential key responsibilities for this job.
