About The Position

SS&C is seeking a Deal Support Specialist to join their new team dedicated to serving customers throughout the deal lifecycle. This early-career role is for individuals who thrive on precision and want direct exposure to how M&A transactions operate. The Deal Support Specialist will be the responsive, knowledgeable point of contact behind the scenes of active M&A transactions, onboarding new deal teams, provisioning access, and resolving requests quickly and accurately. Strong performers in this role will build platform expertise and customer instincts, positioning them for advancement into Customer Success Manager and other roles across the organization.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of professional experience
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Comfort learning complex software quickly and explaining it clearly to others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the judgment to know when a request needs to move fast versus when it needs to be double-checked.
  • Willingness to work a flexible, rotational schedule that occasionally includes evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal experience is a strong plus.
  • Prior exposure to M&A transactions, deal execution, or similar transaction-support technology is a plus, though not required.
  • Multilingual of English, Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese a plus to help scale our support efforts in South America countries.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new users and deal teams to the platform, guiding them through setup so they can move quickly once a transaction is underway.
  • Provision access and permissions accurately and promptly as deal teams and data rooms are stood up or change.
  • Process bulk and structural requests, such as folder creation and user additions, with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Respond to common assist and deal-served service requests, resolving what you can directly and routing what you can't to the right team.
  • Own performance against response time, processing time, and accuracy targets, and track own results.
  • Help stand up the reporting and operating processes for this newly formed team, as one of its founding members.
  • Participate in a rotational schedule that includes occasional after-hours and weekend coverage, supporting the around-the-clock responsiveness that M&A transactions demand.
