About The Position
SiteOne Landscape Supply is expanding its distribution center network and is looking to hire an Outbound Operations Supervisor for its new DC in the greater Kenosha, WI area. The Outbound Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the outbound operations of the distribution center, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, shipment preparation, and carrier coordination. This role leads a team of associates, enforces safety and quality standards, and drives productivity to meet customer service expectations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of outbound logistics, order fulfillment, and shipping procedures.
- Proficiency with WMS and RF scanning technology.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds as part of a team lift.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily outbound operations including picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Ensure all outbound orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet performance and safety goals.
- Monitor workflow and adjust labor as needed to meet operational demands.
- Collaborate with inventory control, inbound, and transportation teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and shipping documentation.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track productivity and resolve issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Execute and deliver daily reports and updates to the Operations Manager.
