DC Shipping Coordinator, 1st Shift, M-F, 7am-3:30pm

The Shipping & Receiving Operator role involves coordinating shipping documents, daily reconciliation of production reporting, and preparing transport documents for international shipments.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
- Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS office
- Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools
Responsibilities
- Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
- Prepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments. Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained n an orderly file.
- Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP.
- Creates plan shipment documents
- Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.
- Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
- Other duties as assigned
