Requirements

• Ability to ensure that freight is going to the proper location.
• Ability to check and maintain proper documentation in the warehouse management system.
• Required to accurately follow various inbound, outbound, and freight relocation operations processes.
• Ensure the freight is stacked securely before moving the pallet.
• Ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate all facilities.
• Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices).
• Must be able to see at close and far distances.
• Must be able to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
• At times, will be working around private offices, needs to maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and consolidate freight in the distribution center using equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts.
• Retrieve warehouse orders and move them to the proper induction lanes for cargo to be sent to stores.
• Locate warehouse locations to put away inbound freight for later retrieval to send to stores.
• Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King's Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.
• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
• Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and seminars.
• Use an RF scan gun to scan cases, master loads, and locations as needed.
• Ensure that freight is going to the proper location.
