About The Position

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of equipment to load and unload pipe and related materials. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining the yard and ensuring materials are properly stored and organized. This role involves working in a distribution center environment and requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work the 2nd shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Familiarity with pipe and related materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as forklifts and other machinery to move and stack pipe and materials.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Organize and maintain the pipe yard, ensuring materials are stored correctly.
• Inspect equipment for safety and operational issues and report any problems.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with inventory management and record-keeping.
• Perform general yard maintenance tasks as needed.
