DC Operator - 2nd Shift

About The Position

The DC Operator safely and efficiently performs warehouse and distribution activities, including receiving and putting away product, picking and staging orders, loading and unloading trailers, preparing products for shipment, and operating warehouse equipment. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, productivity, and teamwork. The schedule is Monday through Friday, second shift, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.
Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience.
Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.

Responsibilities

Learn and understand how to use the WMS equipment to perform daily work requirements.
Use WMS to pull orders to a staging location for checking and loading.
Assist with LP audits and checks as instructed.
Unload inbound shipments, verify accuracy against the unloader report, and ensure tires are palletized correctly and to the correct Unit of Measure.
Use WMS to put away product as directed.
Load product for shipment to customers.
Pull, bundle, and load FedEx orders.
Adhere to all warehouse safety requirements.
Use all equipment and tools safely and properly.
Conduct forklift checks.
Immediately report safety, personnel, and operational concerns or problems to the supervisor.
