About The Position

This position is responsible for handling and moving raw materials and finished goods in the converting area or distribution center. The role requires operating a forklift and potentially a Box Clamp. Responsibilities include assisting with the receipt and storage of incoming raw materials or outgoing finished goods, reading and understanding Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork, and operating a scan gun to load data into the JD Edwards system. The role may also involve assisting with inventory and cycle counts, inspecting trailers for loading, wrapping and moving finished goods, and dumping trash to maintain a clean warehouse space. Additionally, the position may include performing and documenting truck and facility yard inspections, transporting trailers, keeping the facility yard and parking lot clean and safe, communicating yard and trailer status, and maintaining truck cleanliness while reporting any mechanical issues. The role requires demonstrating commitment to Rockline's RRITE Values and ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner. This position is designated as Safety-Sensitive and Product Security Sensitive.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED, required.
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task and solve issues in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to work with speed in a fast-paced environment and with accuracy.
  • Must be able to follow instructions.
  • Must have good attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 - 2 years warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handling and moving raw materials and finished goods in the converting area or distribution center.
  • Operating forklift, may operate Box Clamp.
  • Assisting in receipt and storage of incoming raw materials or outgoing finished goods.
  • Reading and understanding a Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork.
  • Operating a scan gun and loading data into JD Edwards system.
  • Assisting with inventory and cycle counts.
  • Inspecting trailers for loading.
  • Wrapping and moving finished goods from production to designated warehouse location.
  • Dumping trash and keeping warehouse space clean.
  • Performing and documenting truck inspections as well as facility yard inspection at start of shift.
  • Transporting both empty and loaded trailers for distribution center and production facility.
  • Keeping facility yard clean and the parking lot neatly arranged and safe.
  • Communicating yard, parking lot and trailer status to distribution and production personnel.
  • Keeping trucks clean and notifying management of any mechanical issues.
