About The Position

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company and a leading supplier of quality supplies for various industries since 1953, is seeking a 2nd shift DC General Warehouse Associate, Equipment Operator. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, contributing to the company's mission of making complex projects simple, successful, and sustainable. Ferguson has approximately 36,000 associates across 1,700 locations and is committed to building something meaningful together. This position offers a starting rate of $23.50/hr for the 2nd shift, with additional performance-based incentives of up to $5.50/hr. The shift typically starts between 3p-11:30p but can have staggered start times.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inbound shipments are received and registered accurately, maintaining our exceptionally high standards.
  • Perform general warehouse duties to facilitate the flawless flow of goods throughout the facility.
  • Assist site management in aligning with Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, completing necessary documentation and records.
  • Resolve orders that cannot be dispatched or are on hold, liaising with other departments to determine and successfully implement solutions.
  • Pick and pack goods ready for dispatch, ensuring that every order meets our world-class quality standards.
  • Follow company compliance along with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements rigorously.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance to support our ambitious operational goals.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned to contribute to the team’s success.
