About The Position

We have the following shift available: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm (1st Shift). Responsibilities include operating and maintaining a wide variety of warehouse equipment such as AutoStore ASRS, various Packsize systems, and Sealed Air units. The role involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment by applying electro-mechanical knowledge, and maintaining production equipment to meet Ferguson standards while minimizing downtime. The technician will also research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools, maintain a clean workspace, adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, and ensure regular and reliable attendance. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
High attention to detail.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
Self-starter with ability to learn our systems quickly.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain a wide variety of warehouse equipment including AutoStore ASRS, various Packsize systems, and Sealed Air units.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair all equipment by applying electro-mechanical knowledge to problem solve.
Maintain production equipment in a manner that meets Ferguson standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
Research, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to improve the capabilities of the maintenance team.
Clean the workspace as you go and participate with the team in keeping our facility clean, safe, and accident free.
Adhere to Company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
