About The Position

DC/Warehouse Associates support distribution center operations by picking, packing, and staging parts; using radio-frequency scanners; and moving boxes throughout the distribution center. The role also includes marking pallets with store information, entering records, using warehouse equipment and a voice-picking system, and keeping the work area neat, clean, and free of hazards. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or homeschool equivalency.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to stop, kneel, and crouch; occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and stage parts.
• Move boxes throughout the distribution center.
• Mark pallets with identifying store information.
• Use a computer or RF device to enter records.
• Use equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Use a voice-picking system.
• Use a handheld radio-frequency device (R.F. Unit).
• Keep the work area neat, clean, and hazard-free.
• Maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
