About The Position

abra is seeking an experienced Oracle & SQL Server DBA to join a large organization in the Rishon LeZion area. The role has end-to-end responsibility for the administration, maintenance, operation, and optimization of complex, mission-critical database environments. The position covers Oracle and SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and implementation and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions. It also involves working with on-premise and cloud databases, optimizing SQL queries, troubleshooting, and providing professional support to development and implementation teams.

Requirements

At least 4 years of hands-on DBA experience.
Strong hands-on experience with both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with database installation, upgrades, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance improvement.
Experience working across various computing environments and operating systems.
Availability for maintenance activities during evening and nighttime hours when required.
Valid driver's license.
Relevant academic or professional education according to the position requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience with large-scale, mission-critical databases.
Experience with Oracle RAC, GoldenGate, cloud databases, database encryption, and compression.
Experience planning, managing, and leading database infrastructure projects.
