About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and organized individual to provide household support and companionship for a senior family member. This role combines household management, meal preparation, transportation assistance, and social support to help maintain a comfortable, active, and healthy lifestyle.
The ideal candidate is warm, patient, proactive, and enjoys building meaningful relationships while assisting with day-to-day household and personal support needs.

Requirements

• Fluent in both Mandarin and English
• Valid BC Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience in household management, senior care, caregiving, hospitality, or a related role
• Strong cooking and meal preparation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• First Aid and CPR certification is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, balanced meals and snacks
• Plan and manage grocery shopping and household supplies
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
• Provide companionship, conversation, and social engagement
• Encourage and accompany daily walks and light physical activities
• Support healthy daily routines and overall well-being
• Provide medication and hydration reminders
• Monitor general wellness and communicate concerns to family members
• Drive and accompany the senior to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments
• Support day-to-day tasks and special requests as needed
