About The Position

Can Can Brasserie, part of the HOUSEpitality Family restaurant group, is hiring a dedicated daytime cleaner. This is a cleaning position, not a dishwasher role. The cleaner maintains dining rooms, the bar, restrooms, back-of-house areas, and exterior entryways so they are clean and ready for service. The work is performed during daytime hours, mostly before and during lunch, following a clear routine and working with the restaurant team.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Take pride in work and notice details.
• Work independently and manage a routine.
• Be friendly and respectful around guests and coworkers.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds, use stairs, and stand for the full shift or extended periods.
• Daytime availability is required; evenings and late nights are not part of this role.
• Have a positive attitude and work well under pressure with coworkers.
• Perform high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow instructions and ask questions for clarification when needed.
• Be willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Have good communication and listening skills and be able to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean the dining rooms, bar, and restrooms before service each morning.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe down tables, chairs, booths, and fixtures.
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass, and brass throughout the restaurant.
• Keep restrooms stocked, clean, and checked throughout the day.
• Take out trash and recycling and keep exterior areas and entryways tidy.
• Keep cleaning supplies organized and inform a manager when stock is low.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and use cleaning products correctly.
