Daytime Caregiver
About The Position
Ability and Choice Services, Inc. (ACS) is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Daytime Caregivers. This role is an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Both entry-level and Lead positions are available. The role involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries in their daily activities, including medication administration, personal hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping. Additionally, caregivers will mentor, teach new skills, and support community involvement. For select positions, a vehicle, phone, and laptop/tablet may be provided by the company.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a smartphone.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must have a criminal background review.
- Must not have a history of abuse, exploitation, or related offenses.
- Must not be on the Medicaid Exclusion list.
- Must not have any felony in the last 10 years.
- Must provide original documents for E-Verify.
- Must submit to post-offer and random drug screenings.
Nice To Haves
- CNA qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.
