About The Position

Ability and Choice Services, Inc. (ACS) is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Daytime Caregivers in Salt Lake County, Utah, and across the Wasatch Front. This role is suitable for experienced CNAs, nursing home professionals, or individuals new to human services, offering an opportunity to significantly impact the lives of individuals with disabilities. The position involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries with daily activities, including medication administration, personal hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping. Caregivers will also mentor, teach new skills, and support community involvement. ACS has been a family-owned provider of social and community services since 1987, dedicated to enhancing the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Must possess a smartphone.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a good driving record.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must provide original documents for E-Verify.
Must provide documentation for credit given for education, military status, workforce credit status and other accommodations prior to an offer of employment.

Nice To Haves

CNA qualification is beneficial.
