Daytime Caregiver - In Home Supports FT or PT
About The Position
Ability and Choice Services, Inc. (ACS) is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as a Daytime Caregiver. This role is suitable for those with experience as a CNA, in nursing homes, or new to human services, offering an opportunity to significantly impact the lives of individuals with disabilities. The position involves assisting individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries in their daily activities, including medication administration, personal hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping. Additionally, caregivers will mentor, teach new skills, and support community involvement. For select positions, a vehicle, phone, and laptop/tablet may be provided by the company.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a smartphone.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must provide original documents for E-Verify.
- Must provide documentation for credit given for education, military status, workforce credit status and other accommodations prior to an offer of employment.
Nice To Haves
- CNA qualification is beneficial.
- Experience in human services field.
