About The Position

Carpenter Enterprises (B.C.) Inc is seeking a reliable Dayside Maintenance Team Member to help keep their McDonald's restaurant clean, welcoming, and ready for guests throughout the day. This part-time position focuses on exterior maintenance in the early part of the shift, followed by detailed cleaning of guest-facing interior spaces such as the dining area, washrooms, and play place. The role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces
• Comfort working both outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to handle physically active work including walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive cleaning tasks
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility based on scheduling needs

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, or maintenance experience is an asset but not required

Responsibilities

• Start shifts before 8:00 AM and complete assigned exterior maintenance tasks
• Perform outdoor cleaning duties such as leaf blowing, pressure washing drive-thru lanes, cleaning entrances, maintaining the corral area, and lot pick-up
• Clean glass panels, windows, and doors to maintain a polished guest experience
• Complete detailed cleaning of dining areas, washrooms, and play place (not applicable at our Esquimalt location)
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and secure environment for guests and employees
• Use cleaning tools, pressure washing equipment, and chemicals safely and according to training
• Report maintenance concerns or repair needs to management in a timely manner
