About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst with strong Ceridian Dayforce expertise to own the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Encore’s transition from our legacy HRIS to Dayforce. This role will be instrumental in leading system configuration, data migration, testing, and post-go-live stabilization to ensure a smooth, accurate, and scalable implementation. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience guiding organizations through HRIS transitions, partnering cross-functionally, and translating legacy processes into optimized Dayforce solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a similar HRIS-focused role, specifically working with Ceridian Dayforce
  • Strong technical skills and solid understanding of HR systems and HR processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and building from scratch
  • Excellent communicator who can collaborate across functions and influence change

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multi-entity, multi-state, or complex payroll environments
  • Prior involvement in system implementations, M&A integrations, or HRIS consolidations
  • Dayforce certifications (Implementation or Advanced Configuration)
  • Experience partnering with external implementation consultants
  • Advanced reporting or technical skills (PowerBI or SQL) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Play a lead role in the end-to-end transition from a legacy HRIS to Dayforce, including planning, configuration, testing, and go-live support
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and Operations to document current-state processes and design future-state workflows in Dayforce
  • Configure Dayforce to support organizational requirements, including workflows, business rules, forms, pay policies, earnings, deductions, and security roles
  • Support data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation between legacy systems and Dayforce
  • Identify and resolve system defects, configuration gaps, and process issues prior to and following go-live
  • Serve as a primary Dayforce point of contact during implementation and stabilization phases
  • Coordinate with Dayforce implementation partners and support teams as needed
  • Support change management efforts associated with the HRIS transition, including system communications, training materials, and end-user support
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders during the transition period
  • Help establish governance, support models, and documentation for post-implementation system ownership
  • Build and validate reports and dashboards using Dayforce Reporting and Data Views, ensuring continuity from legacy reporting
  • Monitor and support integrations and data feeds between Dayforce and third-party systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes during and after the transition
