About The Position

We are looking for a daycare teacher (part-time) to join our team today. You must be at least 18 years old to apply. If you are looking for part-time work, this is an excellent opportunity to gain teaching experience in early childhood education. We have afternoon shifts open - typically a Noon to 6 pm but we can have a start as late as 3 pm. No experience is necessary - we can train you. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old to apply
Shows empathy and compassion for young children
Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with children in a licensed large childcare center

Responsibilities

Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
Supporting each child’s social and emotional development
Establishing positive and effective family relations
Working with the classroom teachers and in conjunction with the entire faculty
