About The Position

We are seeking a CHILDCARE TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy. This role involves working with young children and contributing to their early development. The position offers opportunities for growth and development through scholarships and tuition reimbursement. The work is considered essential as research shows the first five years are crucial for social and emotional brain development.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to drive a bus.
• Have a positive and reliable work ethic.
• Be able to work full-time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday) and be flexible with scheduling.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
