Requirements

Must comply with the minimum educational standards as set forth by the company and current governmental regulations.
Previous experience caring for young children, 6 weeks - 5 years of age.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be of good character and reputation.
Be of sufficient physical, mental and emotional heath to perform job duties satisfactorily.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children.
Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management, and parents.
Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures.
Knowledge of infant growth and development.
Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by State and company regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and supervise the infant care program as designated by The Learning Experience while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the safety and well-being of the children.
Serve in a co-teaching capacity based on center enrollment.
Maintain the safety and well-being of the children and staff while implementing the Infant program in alignment with company policies, philosophies, and procedures.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all current governmental rules and regulations that pertain to the operation of The Learning Experience centers.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures contained in the Operations Manual, Employee Handbook, Student Enrollment Packet, and Curriculum Guides.
Implement and follow all childcare procedures as mandated in the current governmental rules and regulations and company policies and procedures.
Compile individual observation and feeding/diapering reports on daily basis, maintaining a file on each child as well as supplying the parents with daily communication letter.
Report all incidents immediately to the Center Leadership team, filing the appropriate form and working with the Center Leadership team for resolution and classroom improvement.
Maintain "Tour Ready" classroom.
Attend meetings as requested.
Support center staff as requested.
Help to maintain the general appearance of the center and its common areas.
