About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and structured classroom environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification or minimum of 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related fields.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- Potential for tuition assistance or credit transfer toward further education
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom.
- Monitor children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies.
