About The Position

The Learning Experience – Ledgewood is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to join our growing team. As a Daycare Teacher, you'll help children develop important social, emotional, language, and cognitive skills through hands-on activities, purposeful play, and meaningful interactions. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Passion for working with young children
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education setting preferred
CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe and supported
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play
Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Supervise daily routines including meals, outdoor play, rest time, and classroom transitions
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Follow all New Jersey licensing regulations and center health and safety standards
