About The Position
This role is more than just a daycare job; it's a journey of learning, growth, and play. As an Assistant Teacher at a child care center, you will be a difference-maker, inspiring children to become lifelong learners. The position involves ensuring the daily care of children, maintaining a fun and organized classroom, and developing skills in child observation, assessment, planning, and family communication. Extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided.
Requirements
- Energetic, dependable individuals, with a passion for working with children
- The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
- The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized
- Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families
- Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics
