Requirements

High school graduate
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Must be able to read, follow oral directions and writer legibly.
Must be honest, trustworthy and possess tolerance for all individuals.
Must be able to communicate with other departments.
Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility which include a medical and physical examination.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Good Customer Service Skills, Reliable, Organization Skills.
Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate children and the center’s needs.

Nice To Haves

Prefer Child Development associates or willing to obtain

Responsibilities

Work cooperatively and respectfully with coworkers
Ability to multitask/pick up on Facilitators cues
Playing on the children’s level
Dressing and undressing children
Diaper changes/Potty training
Clean tables after each meal
Sweep floors under meal tables
Sweep and vacuum daily
Prepare snacks and meals
Retrieving meals from the kitchen upstairs
Take out the trash
Take children outside for walks and to the playground
Assisting on field trips
Assisting at nap time
Dishes- loading and unloading dishwasher, washing dishes
Bottles/feeding infants
Eat meals with children (Family style)-Communication throughout meals about daily activities
Inform Facilitator when inventory is low or equipment needs repair
Report concerns regarding children to Facilitator in a timely matter
Attend meetings as requested
Responsible for the health, welfare and safety of children in designated groups
Assist in Intergenerational activities
Abide by applicable policies and procedures
Complete paperwork on children daily
Flexibility to move to other positions
Possess a sincere commitment to the philosophy of Suncrest Daycare and LCMCF
Preform all other duties as assigned not listed above
