About The Position

The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Day Treatment Counselor/Social Worker to join its Education/Bonner Academy team. The role counsels individuals, families, and groups to address mental health and individual and family welfare concerns, including stress, substance abuse, and family dysfunction. The counselor develops and implements appropriate therapeutic treatment plans in mainstream school and day treatment settings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
Active Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT license.
Previous experience as a clinician, counselor, social worker, therapist, or mental health specialist.
Active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Satisfactory pre-employment drug screen, references, FBI/BCI background check, ARCS registries check, and SACWIS database checks.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred.
