About The Position
Lake Park High School is currently hiring for the position of 10-Month Day Shift Safety Monitor. This role involves ensuring safety and security on the West Campus, working from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The position is benefits-eligible and offers participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (in a criminal justice-related field preferred)
- Law enforcement, first responder, or security experience required
- Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications
- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
- Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong orientation toward providing customer service
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students
