About The Position

This role involves directly supervising and coordinating the activities of production workers. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader who can manage and inspire others by making decisions and standing behind them. The position focuses on managing daily workflows, setting priorities, communicating expectations, and participating in the training of new employees while promoting company policies and philosophies.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management or other relevant program
• 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily workflows, sets priorities, communicates expectations/goals with each employee
• Participates in training new employees, promoting company policies and philosophies.
• Assists in troubleshooting issues related to shop drawings, or machine and material problems.
• Evaluate current systems and procedures to continuously improve, i.e. work simplification.
• Evaluate merit reviews for department employees.
• Conduct meetings to give direction and resolve problems.
• Collaborates with other supervisors, managers, and engineering staff to improve processes, flow, productivity…
• Assure conformance with company quality and safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
