About The Position

Hinds' Feet Farm is seeking a compassionate full-time Day Program Specialist for its Asheville, NC facility. This role focuses on making a difference in the lives of individuals with brain injuries by leading engaging activities that support their social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and pre-vocational growth. The specialist will plan and adapt activities to encourage independence and skill development, coordinate outings, and transport members in a 15-person bus. The position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven environment.

Requirements

21+ years of age
Bachelor's degree in a related human services field
Experience working with the targeted population (individuals living with brain injury)
Experience planning and facilitating programming in a member-driven group environment
Eligibility for NC classification as a Qualified Professional through the Department of Health and Human Services
Good standing on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry with no substantiated findings of abuse or neglect
Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a personal, insured vehicle
5+ years of driving experience with the ability to drive a 15-passenger bus with a wheelchair lift

Nice To Haves

Relevant licensure (CTRS, LRT, or CBIS), or willingness to obtain a CBIS certification.
