About The Position
We are a close-knit day program team supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are looking for a kind, patient person to join our team and grow with us. This role involves supporting participants with daily living activities such as hygiene, meals, and safe mobility. You will also engage participants in fun activities and community outings, follow individualized plans, maintain simple records, and drive an agency vehicle. The goal is to create a warm, respectful, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid CT driver's license with a clean record.
- Willingness to get CPR, First Aid, and AED certified.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer comfort.
- Caring and steady attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Medication Administration training (if needed for the role).
Responsibilities
- Assist participants with hygiene, meals, and safe mobility.
