Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience Intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred
  • Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management skills
  • Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible behaviors
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required
  • Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy
  • Experience in behavioral redirection supports
  • Planning and implementing creative approaches to encourage active participation in the program as well as community
  • Actively moving throughout the day and occasionally lifting up to 50#
  • Flexible availability to work between M-F 7a-5p

  • Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
  • Experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what’s right for participants
  • Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
  • Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Assist people with their personal hygiene
  • Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
  • Provide transportation supports utilizing various road ways including Highways, Country, Cities
