About The Position

Pritchard Industries is hiring an exterior Day Porter to provide porter services and help maintain buildings and facilities in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Duties include exterior cleaning, sweeping, trash removal, and using electric blowers, brooms, shovels, and other equipment. The role may also include vacuuming, mopping, floor sweeping, restroom and break room cleaning, and other miscellaneous duties. The ideal candidate has a professional attitude and appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from a supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional attitude and appearance; initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Janitor experience is a plus; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide porter services, including exterior cleaning.
• Sweep and remove trash.
• Use electric blowers, brooms, shovels, and other equipment.
• As needed, vacuum, mop, sweep floors, and clean restrooms and break rooms.
• Perform miscellaneous duties to maintain buildings and facilities in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks effectively.
