About The Position

McLemore is a well-established professional cleaning company with over 55 years of industry experience, operating in 25 states. We are seeking dedicated Day Porters for a warehouse environment. Our team is committed to maintaining clean and healthy environments for our clients. This is a full-time position with a great schedule offering a 3-day weekend after completing 40 hours of work.

Requirements

Prior experience in janitorial or custodial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good physical stamina for manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, breakrooms, offices, restrooms, and common spaces, ensuring a clean environment.
Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to maintain compliance with health standards.
Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, ride on scrubbers and sweepers, electric pallet jack, and other tools efficiently and safely.
Restock supplies and ensure all cleaning materials are used responsibly and effectively.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies.
Support team members in completing assigned tasks efficiently to meet daily operational goals.
