Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of janitorial experience (commercial experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
  • Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., MRI Workspeed, Sage) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Basic proficiency with technology (Outlook, mobile devices, computers)
  • Strong communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license required for multi-location assignment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., MRI Workspeed, Sage) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine facility walk-throughs and report findings to the property manager and/or maintenance staff
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment; report restocking needs
  • Review work order metrics and KPI reports, ensuring timely completion and proper follow-up
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, lobbies, offices, and common areas according to established standards
  • Train new and existing janitorial team members on procedures and expectations
  • Respond to and complete work orders promptly using the work order management system
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions
  • Empty trash and recycling from interior and exterior areas; transport waste to designated disposal areas
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions
  • Report maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) to appropriate personnel
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks (e.g., unclogging toilets, changing bulbs, minor repairs)
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and power washers
  • Identify operational issues and suggest solutions for improvement
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Comply with all applicable regulations and safety standards
  • Provide additional support and complete other duties as assigned
