About The Position
The Day Porter position at Pro-Serv Commercial Cleaning is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of a facility. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and presentable environment for occupants. The shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with an hourly rate of $16.50. The work location is in the Downtown Phoenix Area near Thomas Road and Central Avenue.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- General cleaner experience preferred.
- Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
- A pre-employment criminal background check is required.
- Able to lift up to 30lbs sometimes more.
Responsibilities
- Emptying wastebaskets and recyclables and transporting to disposal area.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors using brooms, mops and manual or backpack vacuum cleaners.
- Some floors may require scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
- Stocking and replenishing supplies.
- Following safety policies and procedures (such as locking doors, using proper chemicals and reporting incidents).
- Cleaning restrooms.
- Taking out the trash.
- Sanitizing.
