About The Position

EDGE Building Services, Inc. is seeking a Day Porter to join their team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, restrooms, and other assigned tasks. The schedule is Monday - Thursday from 5 am to 12 pm and Friday from 10 am to 12 pm. The company emphasizes a family-like atmosphere and is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Ability to lift 10 lbs or more.
Valid Driver's License.
Dedication to providing premier janitorial services in a professional and consistent manner at all times.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with established duties; accomplish specific tasks all while maintaining attention to detail.
Team player attitude and positive approach.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial/house-keeping experience.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks in common areas such as parking lots, sidewalks, smoking areas, and dumpster enclosures.
Spot clean glass to remove fingerprints and smudges.
Empty trash receptacles.
Police parking lot and traffic areas for miscellaneous trash and debris.
Spot mop to remove spills as needed.
Maintain restrooms (if applicable) by spot cleaning surfaces like toilets, urinals, counters, sinks, stall partitions, dispenser exteriors, and mirrors.
Check and restock all paper products.
Spot mop flooring to remove water or spills, using "Wet Floor" signs.
Inform Supervisor of any plumbing, mechanical, or electrical malfunctions.
Report any visible property damage that occurred prior to or during the shift.
Perform other duties as requested by the Property Manager and/or Building Engineer.
