About The Position

The Day Porter will perform various cleaning tasks, report maintenance issues, and assist in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Requirements
- Janitorial experience is a plus.
- A passion for cleanliness.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to learn and change behavior.
- Ability to work irregular hours.
- Ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of excellence in cleaning commercial properties.
- Clean main entrance glass.
- Empty and replace liners on all exterior trash receptacles.
- Police restrooms, restocking products such as soap, towels, tissue, and deodorizers as needed.
- Dust mullions and exterior windowsills.
- Dust mop main lobby floor.
- Dust light fixtures and metal work in the lobby.
- Check common areas and clean the interior of elevator cabs.
- Walk/police interior or exterior stairwells.
- Pour water down the drains in all restrooms.
- Vacuum.
- Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors.
- Wet mop hard surface floors.
- Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure.
- Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
- Report inventory and supplies to Supervisor.
- Report lost and found items to Supervisor/Manager.
- Assist in maintaining storage closets clean and organized.
- Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
- Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize time wisely and efficiently.
