About The Position

Clean Team is hiring a dependable Day Porter to support its Cleveland/Akron-area commercial cleaning operations at an assigned facility. The role helps keep the facility organized, presentable, and welcoming for people using it throughout the day. It suits someone who notices what needs attention, communicates professionally, takes ownership of assignments, and treats customers and coworkers with respect.

The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Clean Team provides job-specific instruction, established cleaning procedures, and team support. The local team can explain site assignments, training, and scheduling details that need confirmation.

Requirements

• Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow written instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform active work during the shift.
• Ability to work respectfully with teammates and site personnel.
• Reliable transportation to the assigned work location or locations.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Prior cleaning, building services, or customer-facing facility experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Check common areas and restrooms regularly throughout the shift.
• Spot-clean spills, entrances, glass, and frequently touched surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers as needed.
• Restock restroom supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Respond to routine cleaning needs while following site priorities.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to instructions.
• Communicate courteously with on-site staff while respecting privacy.
