The Day/Night Therapist (PHP) will be responsible for completing bio-psychosocial assessments, critically assessing assigned patients to provide the best continuum of care, and facilitating therapeutic services including process, psychoeducation, and experiential group therapy. This role also involves conducting individual therapy sessions, communicating effectively with family members and the treatment team regarding patient updates and discharge planning, and understanding the disease of addiction, client cognitions, and behaviors. The therapist will ensure timely and accurate documentation using EMR, communicate patient progress with referral sources and monitoring agencies, and attend weekly treatment team meetings, clinical supervision, and patient behavioral staffings. Additionally, the therapist will utilize empirically supported theoretical orientations and behavioral interventions for individualized treatment plans, communicate concerns, and develop strategies with the multidisciplinary team to modify behaviors, employing multi-culturally competent strategies with patients in the substance use population. Other duties may be assigned.
