About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Day CNA to join our team at Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab in Daytona Beach, Florida. As a Day CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and daily living assistance to our residents. As a Day CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and daily living assistance to our residents. This includes but is not limited to: Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Providing medication assistance and vital sign checks Maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents Documenting resident care and progress Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in the state of Florida
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care to residents based on their unique needs and preferences
- Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, and mobility
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress
- Participate in resident care conferences and provide input on care plans
