About The Position

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Day Center CNA to work at Pathways Southwest Iowa located at 1702 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. This position involves providing and assisting participants of the Immanuel Pathways program with personal cares, activities of daily living, restorative, recreational programming, and supportive care in the center and/or participant’s homes. The role also includes assisting in monitoring and reporting participant’s health status and ensuring a safe environment for the participants.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate required in the respective state in which he/she is employed.
Be at least 18 years of age.
One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required, or completion of job specific training related to working with the elderly population must be completed within the first six months of hire.
Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have your own reliable vehicle.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Providing and assisting participants of Immanuel Pathways program with personal cares, activities of daily living, restorative, recreational programming and supportive care in the center and/or participant’s homes.
Assisting in monitoring and reporting participant’s health status.
Providing a safe environment for the participants of Immanuel Pathways.
