About The Position

The Children’s Center is looking for qualified Teachers and Child Care Aides to join their Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms. These positions serve children from infancy through age 4. The role requires individuals who are caring, patient, dependable, and professional, with a passion for working with young children. Team members will be responsible for maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment, assisting with daily routines such as meals, toileting/diapering, and naps, and supporting children's overall development. Communication with families and coworkers is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

45–90 hours of approved Child Care Training & Certificate
Current resume
Applicants will be considered for positions based on their training, education, experience, and Maryland licensing requirements.
Teacher position applicants should review the child care teacher requirements under COMAR Title 13A, Subtitle 16.

Responsibilities

Support nurturing care, sensory learning, language development, feeding, diapering, movement, and developmental milestones (Infant & Toddler positions).
Support early literacy, numbers, shapes, colors, science, art, social skills, independence, classroom routines, and kindergarten readiness (Preschool positions).
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom.
Assist with meals, toileting/diapering, naps, transitions, and daily routines.
Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
Participate in classroom activities, learning centers, art, music, movement, and play.
Communicate professionally with families and coworkers.
