About The Position
The Child Care Aide provides direct services to the children and families. This includes assisting with the delivery of supervision, program curriculum and interaction with parents. The ultimate goal is to provide a quality experience to children, parents and community with a focus on the YMCA core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring.
Requirements
- Experience with children
- Physical exam required
- TB tests required
- Clearances required
- Ability to lift
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
- Provide direct services to children and families.
- Assist with the delivery of supervision.
- Assist with program curriculum.
- Interact with parents.
