About The Position

As the Day Ahead Operator, you will be a key member of a dynamic team responsible for clearing 95% of megawatts in the MISO market, a significant $40 billion annual operation serving 45 million people. This role offers the opportunity to make impactful decisions that ensure efficient and reliable energy outcomes, driving the future of the energy industry. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement, owning the Day Ahead market process from case creation, constraint management, and congestion mitigation to market approval. While the company operates 365 days a year, this position does not require overnight shifts, offering a balanced work schedule. Within the first year, you will master the necessary training, understand your role's contribution to market efficiency and reliability, and build strong collaborative relationships within the control room. Requirements

Minimum of four years of electric utility industry or RTO experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR eight years of equivalent work experience
NERC/RC certification
