We are seeking a skilled Multi‑Spindle Screw Machine Operator with hands‑on experience running Davenport, Acme‑Gridley, Brown & Sharpe, Schutte, or Tornos multi‑spindle equipment. Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating multi‑spindle screw machines (Davenport, Acme‑Gridley, Schütte, Tornos, or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of cam‑driven machine operation
• Ability to perform minor setups and adjustments independently
• Familiarity with high‑volume production environments
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Operate, and troubleshoot multi‑spindle automatic screw machines including Davenport and Acme‑Gridley platforms
• Adjust cams, tooling, collets, feeds, speeds, and attachments to maintain optimal performance
• Perform in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges
• Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and process sheets
• Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with supervisors, setup technicians, and quality teams to ensure part accuracy and production efficiency
